Product Description
Tiptop offers a variety of duplex stainless steel, super duplex stainless steel welded and seamless tubing, depending upon the properties the tubing is required to exhibit. Other alloys and sizes are also available upon request. Duplex stainless steels (named for their austenite and ferrite compositions), has greater yield strength than austenitic stainless steel.
Our control lines are supplied on spools to exact length requirements. As per the clients’ detailed request, it is pressure tested hydraulically, purged with clean oil, and sealed on both ends prior to shipping.
Control system fluids must be compatible with the environments and operating temperatures of the control line.
Control line encapsulation also is available, where requested, to provide additional crush and abrasion resistance during installation. The encapsulation material should be matched for compatibilty with well fluids and temperature requirements.
Standard: ASTM-A 789 Standard specification for seamless and welded ferretic/austenitic stainless steel tubing for general service. This specification covers various grades of duplex stainless steels.
